An exploration of the buildings archaeology of the village of Collingham in Nottinghamshire. The talk is based on a community fieldwork project – Collingham Uncovered – which took place in 2020-22. Its aim was to try and understand whether there were any mediaeval or early modern vernacular buildings hidden in plain sight within the village. In all over 60 potential structures were identified by Collingham & District Local History Society of which one third were unlisted buildings.
