Tattershall Castle, Lincolnshire
In 2016 the Arts and Humanities Research Council funded a four year collaborative doctoral award researching Tattershall Castle, Lincolnshire, which has been run by the University of Nottingham and the site’s landowners – the National Trust. The project has been carried out by James Wright of Triskele Heritage and as been an opportunity to re-evaluate this important mid-fifteenth century site in the light of modern buildings archaeology and architectural history.
Outputs of the project have included the renewal of the guidebook to the site, a number of journal articles and widespread public speaking at conferences, lectures and guided tours.
